Mohsen S. Pilehvar

Mohsen S. Pilehvar was born in Mashhad, Iran, in 1988. He received his B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Ferdowsi University, Mashhad, Iran, in 2011, and his M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Shiraz University of Technology, Shiraz, Iran, in 2013. He is currently working toward his Ph.D. degree in the Power Electronics Research Group at Kansas State University. His research interests include grid-tied inverters, switching patterns, power electronics applications in microgrids and renewable energy systems.

Joseph Benzaquen

Joseph Benzaquen was born in Caracas, Venezuela, in 1987. He received a B.Sc. (2011) and an M.Sc. (2015) in Electrical Engineering from the Universidad Simón Bolívar, Caracas, Venezuela. He is currently working towards a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering at Kansas State University as part of the Power Electronics Group. His research interest areas are power electronics, electric machinery, and power systems.

Aswad Adib

Aswad Adib was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh in 1988. He received his B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). He was an employee of Samsung R&D Institute Bangladesh (SRBD), Samsung Electronics from 2012 to 2014 where he worked as a Software Engineer. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Kansas State University. His research interest is in the area of Power Electronics.

Abdulraheem Alkhiary

Abdulraheem Alkhiary was born in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He received his B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Kansas State University, Manhattan, KS, in 2016. He was an intern at Black & Veatch in summer 2016. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering at Kansas State University as part of the Power Electronics Research Group. His research interests include power electronics, microgrids, and renewable energy systems.
